After six+ months of planning, I finally travelled to the Midwest for a big work conference. On one of my last travel days there, I had a chance for an offsite lunch. Thinking I might have slim pickings on options and wanting something different than a “oh goodness… I hope this is safe salad” I popped open the Find Me Gluten Free app to see my options.
To my surprise, there were options all around, many chains, but ultimately, none in the direct area I was headed. So I headed about 30 minutes the opposite direction to enjoy some Thai food from a place the locals trust.
We ended up at Thai Thai Cuisine in Branson, Missouri, which was about 30 minutes from Kimberling City with traffic and about an hour from Springfield. I went with the Chicken Pad Thai, hold the bean sprouts, and it was super tasty.
Plus, servings were generous, so I took half home in my trunk for dinner that night once my meetings wrapped.
I will undoubtedly be back in Missouri for work at some point in the future unless I have a career change, so I’ll be excited to hit up a few other options next time and report back.
