Folsom Farmers Market Finds

I can only speak to the Midtown and Folsom Farmers Markets, but both have some great non-produce gluten free options.

Today I stopped by the Folsom Farmers Market which is open on Saturdays from 8am-1pm year round. There are two specific, dedicated gluten free local businesses that I want to call out as fantastic. If/when there are others I find and try, I’ll add them here too.

Up first has to be The Caring Kitchen Folsom who I actually stumbled upon on Instagram and was the initial reason for the visit. They had so many seasonal, tasty options, many of which were also vegan on top of being 100% GF. If you’re local and you haven’t had the pleasure of trying their treats, I highly recommend them! Mad tasty and seasonal sweets too.

Today I picked up a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, a vanilla chai cookie, a pumpkin spice snickerdoodle and a cinnamon roll sugar cookie. I mean, that is RIGHT-UP-MY-STREET! 10/10 recommend!

The second find of the day, outside of some bangin produce was Vitana Bakery, which had the best assortment of gluten free bread I’ve maybe ever seen. Different varieties, sourdough legit loaves, seasonal mini loaves, homemade croutons, waffle cones, cookies and more.

I picked up a white sourdough loaf and some croutons for me and my mom grabbed a keto loaf. Super excited to try it because based on smell, looks and feel alone, it is sure to be delicious. Plus, the bread can be frozen and then pulled out as needed so what’s not to like!

Buy local and support small businesses by checking both of them out on Saturday’s at the Folsom Farmers Market from 8am-1pm. Trust me, these are finds you do not want to miss!
