Fully feeling the holiday spirit as I kicked off some cookie box baking today. Over the next few days I’ll share the individual recipe recaps, but long story short, we attempted five new recipes towards #30NewGFRecipesIn2021 and four of the five were successes… the other one is in the trash. 😂

All of the recipes would be 100% gluten free (obviously) and either vegan as written or altered to be vegan.

Up first was the seasonally perfect, ginger cookies with a recipe c/o @beckyexcell’s cookbook. If you’re planning to make this and you don’t have golden syrup, which I didn’t, check your local World Market. I picked up a bottle for $5 which was way cheaper than Amazon and none of my local supermarkets had any.

The recipe was super straightforward and perfectly crisp. I would definitely make this again during the holiday season or not.
