Finally made this recipe after seeing similar ones online for years. This recipe is super simple and mostly, a set-it and forget meal. 🍊
I serve this with brown or white rice. It typically makes 4-6 servings, so this is a great recipe for meal prep!
You can save the extra sauce from the Crockpot to add to the next batch you make. Just let it cool a bit, strain it (so you don’t freeze any chicken bits). Then pour it into a container and pop it in the freezer.
I had it for lunch today and it reheated great! Definitely super easy and tasty so it’s a win-win.
Ingredients
- 1/2 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
- 1 jar Smuckers Sweat Orange Marmalade
- 6-8 large chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp. of salt
Steps
- Cube 6-8 large chicken breasts — be sure your chicken is thawed first
- To a Crockpot or slow cooker, add BBQ sauce and orange marmalade. Stir until all chicken is coated.
- Cook for 5-6 hours on low.
- Remove the chicken from the Crockpot with a slotted spoon and cook for 10 minutes on the stove to crisp it up a bit. This step also thickens the sauce a bit.
