Heading into this trip, the one spot on my must-visit list was @senzaglutennyc. I’d been following them on Instagram for about a year and their posts looked delicious.
Up first was Senza Gluten restaurant. Lighting was nice so it set a good atmosphere if you’re looking for a nice night out. I stopped in during the end of their “Brunch” menu today and started with a bread basket which was soft and delicious. Then I had the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich and he had the New York Strip Steak Sandwich. Both were tasty. I particularly enjoyed the pine nut pesto. Now, would I go there again, maybe. The food was pretty pricey and they only accept AMEX or cash which can be tricky.
After that, we walked down the street to the Bakery. I picked up some tasty Shortbread cookies for $6. Again, I might stop by there again, but it’s not at the top of my list.
Where would I recommend going if you were anywhere within 15 miles of Greenwich Village? See my next post for the best place I ever accidentally stumbled upon. #glutenfreenyc #glutenfreenewyork #celiac #glutenfree #glutenfreesacramento #glutenfreetravels #greenwichvillage
